Material Procurement
When it comes to procuring materials for tenant improvements, this can also be a more intricate task. The responsibility may fall on the property owner, the tenant, or our team – but of course, we work diligently to ensure that all parties are aware of any timeline constraints, and that barring any supply chain issues, that materials are delivered when we need them.
Tenant improvements can encompass a wide range of upgrades, from simple cosmetic changes like paint, light fixtures, or following to move extensive renovations like adding new walls or plumbing work.
The SWMW team has the expertise to manage all aspects of tenant improvements, including coordination with sub-trades and ensuring that work is completed on time and on budget.
We’ve been very fortunate to be able to work on a plethora of different retail construction and improvement projects over the years, and have several in the works at any given time. 9 Round Fitness in Lethbridge, Alberta
Completed in 2018, this project was a full interior renovation and tenant improvement overhaul for a kickboxing gym! The second of two locations, the owners of the property were a part of a large franchise of gyms.
As such, we needed to strictly adhere to corporate design standards and an approval process. Our team worked closely with the in-house design team to ensure planning was smooth and the gym space was as optimized as possible.
