Mackenzie Fire Hall
Completed
The District of Mackenzie Fire Hall project involved the construction of a new 18,546 sq. ft. fire hall in Mackenzie, British Columbia. With the existing fire hall dating back to the early 1970s, the District needed a modern replacement that could better support current operations, training, and future growth. Completed in 2023, the new facility provides a durable, high-functioning emergency services building designed around both performance and appearance.
This brand-new fire hall was built as an entirely wood-frame, post-and-beam structure featuring massive curved glulam beams designed to match the architect’s vision. The building was designed to accommodate 40 firefighters and includes a training classroom, fully operational kitchen, and covered patio, helping support both daily operations and staff needs.
